I keep buying cheap headlamps and they either corrode or the switch gets flaky. Need something simple that can live on the boat. Dont need 900 modes and a red strobe disco. What has actually lasted?

mine last longer once I stopped leaving batteries in them all winter. I keep one decent rechargeable and one cheap backup. headlamp is one of those tools I use way more than I expected.

Same. Also learned that very bright is not always better inside the cabin. I want one with a low setting I can get to without clicking through five other modes.
