trying to make a real pre haul list this year instead of remembering half of it after the boat is on stands. so far: run the engine, check bilge pumps, move every seacock, look for deck leaks after rain, inspect sails on the way down. what am I forgetting?

Fuel filters if they are due. Look for fresh leaks while the engine is warm. Check raw water flow. Write stuff down before winter because you will swear you remember it in April and you wont.

I always find some stupid canvas thing when it comes off. zipper, loose stitching, cloudy window. taking pictures as it comes down has saved me a few times.
